I have hesitated to send one from my end just because of the language barrier, but maybe I should..?

Oh please George it's not like they are from Mars are they? :o
If you keep it simple straight forward english I don't see what the problem is.

As for the shipping cost. So far I have no complaints about the shipping costs they charged us Dutch guys. I paid 34 Euro shipping from Czechia to my doorstep.

Too bad, Jules.

Yes, you're 51 on the list, just ahead of me.

Jules can officially move up to #50 since I'm bowing out on the Bach.  With 5 T-Birds, I think I'm about set for now!

I don't know about shipping from Europe, but shipping to has gone up considerably since the USPS tightened their size requirements. What cost me $120 18 months ago cost me $300 last fall (a shipment FedEx screwed up that I'm STILL trying to get sorted)!

No matter, if I can make the money appear shipping will be what it is... I'm still excited to get the bass.

I think i was number 51 on the list. Looks like we'll all get one eventually. Looking forward to it!

I just snapped my real non rev, loading it up for a gig, so I need a giggable replacement  :-\

Ouch, is it a bad break? You will get it repaired? Those darn way-too-large headstocks and their risque angle just ask for that too happen. I pretty much gig all my basses, even the sixties birds, but whenever I do I'm a bit anxious. Not worried about the newer ones, and not because they are easier to repurchase, but because they are a lot more stable. You hardly ever encounter a post 87 Bird with a neck snap.

Well, I'm overwhelmed with projects too, So I'm backing off new purchases of any basses in favor of tools/ machinery for the shop. Gotta get ready for retirement!   ;D

Well, anyone here in the States heard anything?  I sent off an email to Roman today asking if they expected to ship soon.  BTW - I noticed that the email we got came from their customer service email address, so I sent one to Roman directly.

I got an email from Bach back in January, signed by Roman that said basically the first basses were sent to Europe because it was easiest, but " sending to USA is not very easy due to need to takes each bass in Custom house ."

He goes on to say that they are working on the rest of them and they should go out end of Feb or March.

I got the same email. It could happen by the end of March, but don't hold your breath.

Well, there's still hope.  Roman replied to my email.  He says to check again next month, and thanked me for my patience.

Still no news from Roman.  It's only the beginning of March though.
It's happening this month, I can feel it.  By the end of the month.

So, what is the deal on these?  Is it a case where anyone has lost money?
