I would think that any import taxes or charges would be the buyer's responsibility. If there's an exporting problem in Czech law, why wouldn't they just come out and say that they're having a problem? Why the silence?

Hello non-reversed, my old friend
I've come to be silent with you agin...
(and so on)
Ps Don't mention this to Paul Simon. He might want composers credit for it. Or should it be de-composit credit in this case? ds

It could also be an issue with shipping costs.  I found out recently, when I shipped a bass to Spain, that UPS wanted $700 to ship, while the USPS did it for $110.

Shipping cost seems like a probable reason to me. Let's just hope at least Rob recieves an answer what the issue is causing this stall.

The buyer pays all shipping. It won't be BaCH's expense, so why would that cause a delay?

Maybe they're concerned with possible order cancellations.  It still doesn't make sense, since they haven't really approached us with a cost, and they'd probably have little trouble selling the basses even if a number of people cancelled.

I want my BaCHBird, dammit....

What I find strange, is that there's Swedes who've got their Bachbirds, and others, like me, who hasn't. Now, that is something to discuss in small groups! Then: return to The Board. Report!

The only Swede that has received his BaCHbird -that I know of- is Daniel. Haven't heard from any of the other Swedes...

I like to think that the "50 sitting in a warehouse" was just a stall tactic, and that they are actually building and deploying these slow-and-meticulously, one-by-one.

Either that, or they are just taunting us.

Because the BaCH is no Gibson I don't mind some minor changes.

Today I mounted a Fender cover. I ordered a P one, cos that looks like a Gibson one, but isn;t this a Jazzer?

Well, it looks like this:

I also have this non chrome cover on my EB3. Shall I mount it on the Bird?

Do or don't?

BTW: I'm still looking for a nice set of chrome covers for my '76 Bird, but they're either too expensive or they aren't willing to ship to Europe. 17th of March is my birthday. You know what to do......:D

I have to admit, it does look good Chris! Even if it's a 7ender cover... ;)

Why not? The only thing is the difference in shinyness. Or is it the picture?

Nope, the Fender cover is chrome and shiny new. The bridge cover is stainless steel. No chrome.
