Amazing, even Gibson got me something sooner, looks like Mike Lull will too.  :-\

Just checking to see if anyone here in the States has gotten a reply from BaCH?   I think I'm in a race to see which comes first - the BaCHbird or my Scroll bass.  The Scroll bass was paid for and ordered about 1 1/2 years ago.

Hey, at least you didn't order a Rickenbacker.  ;D

Another Dutch guy got it some days ago.

Rob Basvarken asked for a Gibson copy and to have it completely right he also asked BaCH for Gibson customer service. You can't blame Rob for that!

At least he didn't ask for Gibson's present-day finish quality.

Seb, the Postal Service messed up. Since I live inbetween two major post offices one of them recieved the bass and sent a note to me. When I got there today they discovered that someone obviously had sent the bass to the other office where we usually pick up our parcels. The tracking number said Örebro so maybe they sent it all the way there to be reloaded. I could'nt help but just laughing about it. What's a few days more, hah hah.

The Bachbird arrived at my doorstep today. It is very well built and I also discovered it is quite much heavier than my Bicentennials. I've only tested it soundwise through my practice amp (Roland Basscube 30). It seems a bit brighter sounding than my other Mahogany Gibsons and I suspect the pickup  is responsible for that. It'll make a nice change and I'll keep it stock for now. I have yet to try it in a real rig. Hope all of you on the other side of the pond recieve yours also very soon. No word yet?

Congrats Daniel!

I sent BaCH another email today to ask them why the rest of the world still hasn't heard a single word from them. No reply so far...

It is very strange that they're still taking so long, since they have the product in stock and buyers waiting to pay them.

We were talking about that on a Dutch bass forum. Maybe they only built 15? Or maybe they still haven't found out how to avoid exporting problems to USA?
