Yeah, I emailed both of those contacts before the Birds took flight.  Still nothin'.
I'll be patient though.  How many Birds made it to their destination so far, two?

AFAIK just the two, Rob and Chris.

Just the two?
Well, we'll have to wait for them to finish the rest.  :bored:
I'm quite sure that they don't have dozens of Birds just sitting there waiting to be shipped.
They must be stalling while they try to get the next couple finished.

There are 50 BaCHbirds.
10 -that I know of- have been delivered at their new owner.

In a sweeping strategic strike into the Czech heartland I have confiscated the other 40.

So, we're making a little progress anyway...   8)

That's good news. They aren't just sitting on them. I guess it's just taking them time to get going on these.

I ordered an Epiphone Thunderbird case for the BaCHbird the other day. I had to because it doesn't fit in any of the cases nor gig bags I have...
The guy at the store assured me the case would fit a Non Reverse Thunderbird. The right dimensions, etc. And from the pictures I saw I did not forsee any problems.

Yesterday the case arrived. Of course the guy of the store was wrong.
It had a shaped interior. Shaped for the Reverse Thunderbrid. The case in the pics was not shaped...

So I had two options:
1- send it back and start the quest for a case all over again.
2- take out the toolbox...

So I took out the toolbox and took out the compartment of the body. Tore off the plush. Cut the polystyren to shape. And glued it all back together again.

So now it fits:

The question being, were any of them on this side of the pond?

Still waiting  :-\

Just checking to see if anyone here in the States has gotten a reply from BaCH?   I think I'm in a race to see which comes first - the BaCHbird or my Scroll bass.  The Scroll bass was paid for and ordered about 1 1/2 years ago.
