The Anschluss took a day, though.

I have been wisely not diving into this.  Wise in that I know my own purse vs my other commitments.  But it sounds like a deal and a half.  So maybe they will do a couple of runs, I am hoping
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

I didn't make the first 50, I kinda wanted a "naked" one, and my "project time" is mostly devoted to my car these days, but at this price, I'll take one if I move up the list.  ;D

The first ones arrived in Holland today. An early X-mass for some people. Mine isn't in yet.

I just returned from a four hour rehearsal. It was great!

My opinion: The bass just is a real Thunderbird, big, narrow neck, on the left the oversized and angled headstock. It's just the T-bird feel. Because it's a copy it's a real neck diver, but I'm used to that. No problem. But the big headstock looks so familiar.

Sound. Great. You hear the real nosy (is that English?) but warm Gibson/mahogany sound. It growls and even the D and G are fat. Don't expect that from a P. It has enough lows, sparkly highs but also a lot of pushing mid. The bass was very well audible in the mix. Pushy but low. I'm in love!!

It doesn't sound like my 76er, but it has another body and pick up. I don't have much experience with the 60s and modern Birds, but I think it sounds more like that!

Thumbs up for Rob and BaCH. Both did a great job!

No bad things, besides the neck diving? Tuners and pots/knobs are cheap, but we knew that.

I think the word you're looking for is nasal.

Anyway, I'm glad they've finally arrived and that it's everything you hoped for.

I sure hope the US buyers hear from Bach soon.

'Nasal' was my first thought, but I thought that would be bad English too. In Dutch we say 'nasaal'.

@ MarK: I'll do the pink fairy glitter refinish first and then it's on its way!

Gibson Non Revs are neck-heavy too. Like hell and much more than any Rev Bird. Great to hear they turned out so well!
