I was just thinking of when the little guy's momma (my Sarah) was born I was flying north out of Mississippi towards Wisconsin as fast as that old Freightliner could muster....non-stop New Orleans to Portage Wisconsin.
That old grey freightshaker had two 150 gallon tanks so I didn't have to stop except to grab a snack and wet the tires. It didn't get very good fuel mileage but I could run the pyrometer to 1600 degrees and my thermocoupler telling me how hot the turbo was getting was 6 inches on the cold side of the turbo with flames coming about a foot out of the top of the stack.
I was there the next morning about 1075 miles later.
Thank you all.
LOL, I'm already hoarding more old Gibby stuff than I can remember along with two Fender old 50 watt amps and a blonde Bassman bottom.
