All it really needs is a paintjob. I don't like sunburst so I had mine refinished in Vintage Guacamole.

Here it is together with Martin's modded modified and an original one.

It should if it was a Fender Bass VI. These were made a couple of years ago.

The neck on that Explorer is a Hondo, but I don't think the rest of it is. The body and bridge look just like the Condor Explorer I had. Mine was black and also had a spiderweb on it (a different one). The white color of this headstock doesn't match the white on the body. My Condor had a Fender-shape headstock.

Yeah, quite a lot actually. It's called blues.

I played a fretted one last summer. It is heavy. Very heavy. Weighs more than a Peavey T-40.

I'm always having trouble applying the 8ft waterslide decals.

I know it's an old thread, but I remembered it when I saw this clip on another forum today:

Is it this guy?

I don't know who painted that bass, but it's very nice (I played it a couple of times).

Sounds hot! Do you have a link to pics of this pinkburst Mustang perhaps?

Yes

At least the guy now has one proper pup to put in his Jazzbass.

Three of those pickups on one bass is only legal if you live far away from the ocean. The bass will be the new magnetic north pole, a lot of ships will be in trouble.

Thanks! It sounds great too. It's the same sort of sound I get with my Squier TB, but a little brighter due to pickup placement. It's a little boomier than I expected, maybe I'll try another brand of strings next time (Rotosound now).

Red.

Even more scratches. After this I sprayed it black again.

It's a bass! :)
