Yeah, I have some covers, but does the spacing work at the bridge, or just the neck position?

Just the neck position, to narrow for the bridge spacing. I only use the neck pup anyhow. Model Gs are not to fussy when it comes to pole alignment but it might be to far off at the bridge to work well, don't know never tried one by the bridge.

the dimarzios are also 4 wire right?

I got to get a set of these.  I bet I can get a nice SCPB and Jazz growl our of the schallers split to single coil.

I dont think the spacing will matter, i know of the buckers i had to adjust them way down and turn down my gains, these suckers are HOT and have some crazy pull.

does it have the 2 little ears for the screws?

Does the dimarzio cover come off? Wonder if they look like the schallers underneath, they
look like they were designed to be ram either way and look cool.

i'mma thimpking that with 2 1/8" bridge spacing on a short neck and a mudbucker slammed against the neck, more or less like some LP spacings and a bridge "G" almost to the sweet spot that it might work for an EB3 quasi replica.

wonder what it would (or wouldn't) sound like?
