Title: Sold "Old Reliable"
Post by: patman on January 14, 2013, 07:56:45 AM
Sold my old faithful combo 300 this Sunday...my only bass amp is a Peavey MAX 126 now.  It feels a little bit weird not to own a real amp.

One question (to exclude the regret thing)... why...?

 :P ;)

Nope, ya missed the question... I meant why sell a reliable old fave...

I've used Peavey gear in studio situations and never had a complaint, just stuck it with my (presently sick) Hiwatt and a backup Mag300 4x10 thingy...

Weighed more than 100LBS

If I ever NEED an amp, I will just buy something like the smallest mini GK, and run it through my JBL EON (35LBS)

I use in-ears for the band...lightest gear yet.
