Yeah, I saw that and wondered why the Chinese government actually did something about it. They usually ignore it. Maybe it helped that Gibson has its own investments in China.

Did Deceitful Dan offer nice TBird fakes too? I might have been interested ... Not to present the fake as an original, but to marvel at perhaps how good or bad it is.

Rembrandt collectors collect the (good) fakes too, all part of the myth.
