That is just because the current three point bridge replaced the original 2 point - their - how shall I put this? - holes don't match. An upgrade IMHO though Herr eb2 will no doubt beg to differ ...

ah yes.i put the 3 point bridge on there back when the bass was in its fugly state.i didnt have the old holes filled because i thought i might be able to get a 60s t bird bridge in there.i dont think that can be done though.the 3 point i like a whole lot better than the 2 point,it was much easier to set up and on this bass at least,it sounds better too.
