My favorite was his SG Special in terms of tone.

JAE says the same in his book. Me too. The LPs with mini humbuckers are awesome too, BTW. Not that different from an SG P90. Both are quite aggressive, tonewise.

It was like a strat & LP combined, the best of both guitars.
