So beautiful! If I could afford it right now, I would be on it!!! But so many pickups? Half of them would be enough! A real beauty!

Thanks, Stojfon...I draw the line at two!  Those are dummies put in for the photos.  The real ones arrived today.  I'm looking forward to hearing the "S" in the modded bridge position.

I want to thank you guys for all the encouragement and inspiration.  I'm beginning a lot of sanding and painting that will take up the next month or so.  EBird42, JAEbird42, REV42, MAX Special and MAX41

Sanded to 180/240, taped, and ready to be shot.  The eyes have it.

Polyester primer and MEK.  About $40 a quart which will do about five bodies. Pot life is 35 minutes after adding MEK, then you run the risk of it solidifying in the gun.  Basically it's spray on Bondo.

All primed, Ebird topcoated and curing.  One of those white ones is going to be Inverness Green.  I'm making progress, Denis!

concentric pots or no tone???

Stacked pots.  The bass sounds killer with the S in the slightly closer to the bridge position.  A 220K resistor on each stack makes the two pickups completely independent from each other.  I'm going to try something similar on a V V T setup

Jim, it's great to see you checking in.  I hope you're feeling healthy.
