DAMMIT!!  Enough already! ;D  Do you know how hard it is to really clean Dr. Pepper from a keyboard!?  Do you realize that if my wife finds out that the Dr. Pepper on said keyboard exited through my nose on it way to the keyboard that she will insist on the purchase of a new keyboard?! :P

When will I learn not to drink anything while reading this forum?  I needa sneeze guard for the monitor too

Again, another thread has plunged into the cavernous abyss that is the collective dirty and anally fixated mind of this forum. I sometimes think: Have really all of you gone to boarding school or the French Foreign Legion?

I feel morally duty-bound to put it back on track: How much do you want for your pale beauty, Bill?

Plugging the hole and moving on....

It would be a nice addition to the Borg collective. You really do not have a flat top with chrome lp covers/pups. I'm really surprised you would sell it as you will probably never get another one like it.

Well, selling was a hard decision, but I am a short scale/hollow body fanatic. This bass is unique and cool (if I do say so myself), but the LP neck profile isn't like my favorite TB profile.  Besides, the projects are mounting up and the wife is cutting back my spending with more college tuition payments for junior coming up again!

In the end, they are just things.  You have them, you play them, you love them, then you turn them loose for others to hear.

A good philosophy to subscribe to!  It works for me (as long as it isn't one of my TBs or hollow bodies).

I can almost hear "Born Free" playing in the background as the UPS truck fades away on the horizon.  :)

Yep, with a Beer Garden band playing it!  Germany is such a hospitable place for Gibson  basses.

The pups are Lindy Fralin Bassbuckers which are wound to the 60's Thunderbird specs and they sound great.  I'm biased, but this is a great sounding LP bass and his pups are top notch.
