Late '73 faded Burgundyglo.  $3,529 BIN. Has a hole in the heel where a Lemmy-style strap button once was.

I'm generally not a fan of MapleGlo, but that's a good looking bass.

MG looks best without binding imho.

If it doesn't "glo" then it can't really be mapleglo, can it? It's nice but I wouln't pay more for a satin finish.

Santa Ana logic is sometimes challenging. Autumnglo is matte. The same color in high gloss is Walnut, no -glo suffix.

That's an oddity, though, and AFAIK matte Autumnglo was never priced higher.

The satin MG was a very limited run for the Japanese market and was essentially the return of the v63, at the time when the only other vintage reissue you could buy was the C64 with its unfortunate upside-down headstock. So I guess you paid premium for the rightie headstock, not the matte finish. BTW natural finishes justify a premium because you can't hide anything with natural.

Never thought of that. Maybe that's it. I also kind of like the ones with black trim.

Tell that to Gibson!

Big bad Glueglo 4001 from 1972 on Reverb. I feel like I posted this one before?
