I've never held or seen an M 85 in person, but the M 75 that I'm converting to a bass is very similar: maple carved top, lots of chambers,  mahogany body. Body shape is very similar. I'd say they are very much alike. More so than those recent LP basses with the really heavy bodies and 34" scale necks

Here are a couple of shots of mine.







In the 3 shots you have my LP Standard (which I've never shown on here), my beater Yamaha, and my beloved Stealth Thunderbird. Also my Daughters Epi Dot Studio, and the black bass is a "prototype" that I'm working on for myself. The neck is worthless (warped beyond repair and the frets were brutally removed by me), the whole thing is basically a mock up. Anyhow, that is my "collection".

Try to upload the image in a free Flickr or Photobucket account and use the IMG-code to post it here! Much easier.

I always use Imageshack and haven't had a problem until today. What is the size limit here? I couldn't find any info about posting pics. I DID however discover that no "girls with basses" posts are allowed. :P

Tom, the default size limit setting for externally hosted pics is 800 x 600, I figured that was reasonable and would keep most users from having to scroll right to see a whole photo. The question hasn't come up before so I don't know if larger images are automatically downsized or not.

Nice! Looks great like that! Now if only you could get it to scroll... (just kidding!)

Alas, the Exploiter is no longer mine. I finally sold it to help fund the Stanley Clarke 5 string, but I'm happy with the decision - I just wasn't playing it enough and I love the SC!
