Berry Jr took his dad's bass in and they took all the measurements, etc... do the search...

Is that true? As far as I know it's rumour that's going on for years already.
I do know that Fender created a copy of the Tractor for Berry jr. years ago (with a DeArmond humbucker
). Here it is, copy on the left, the real deal on the right:

Can't find the link at the moment, but one reference on the F*nd*r site says the "custom shop" will make them to order... how true that is is another matter...
