Went to see "Act of Valor" yesterday with a friend and saw the "Abe Lincoln Vampire" trailer.  People were laughing and thought it was a joke.  I think Tim Burton need some psychiatric help.  What's next?  George Washington, Starfighter pilot and illegitimate son of Darth Vader????   :vader:

You might be right. I once saw John Carradine in Billy The Kid vs. Dracula. So anything like that isn't too farfetched.

Just goes to show you that the "creative" people are not as creative as you might think.  How lame can it get????

Well, there was the single most famous miscasting event in movie history - John Wayne as Gengis Khan in "The Conqueror".

Hollywood hasn't had a new idea in years, and most of the old ideas weren't original either.

I thought Alec Guiness in Teahouse of the August Moon was also a bit of a stretch.

I think you mean A Majority Of One, where he played a Japanese businessman.

Teahouse of the August Moon featured Marlon Brando as a native Okinawan, even more a stretch, not to mention his bizarre performance.

Found the trailer, Brando appears at 0:26. Talk about old, I remember seeing this in original release, and that was 56 years ago.  :o

I finally watched Iron Sky on the weekend - quite humourous, and includes homages to various other movies (including Downfall).  The film features both English and German dialogue, with the German dialogue subtitled in English.  It's worth a look for sure.
Cheers
