 They're gorgeous!

Slag 'em all you want - I LOVE Gibson basses!
Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

Hey, I got Rob's point, but rather than posting something about a mini ukulele, I wanted to sneak in Duelling Banjos!

It's too bad that Gibson discriminates against ham-fisted, sausage-fingered knuckle draggers. Why should the fairy-fingered shortasses get all the cool basses? I smell a class action lawsuit.

Is it possible to get me a hi res picture of the V bass only, for our magazine? If possible right from the front, high resolution and a one colour backhground. Would be more than great!!!

Chris check the Gibson site. They have several good press pics.

I have not had time to even plug it in and now it is all packed up. :( I was away gigging all weekend my Wife is out of town all week between work and daddy duty running my daughter here and there I haven't had a moment. What I can say is it is  short scale, very well made, beautiful really the best looking Flying V bass to date imho. She plays great. I am really interested in how the chrome humbuckers sound. I'll let Uwe give his impressions when he gets the bass, he does have a way with words.

I will, I'm a little behind things, Nov and Dec are busy months at a law firm. Only just received the LP OS Goldtop which I have dubbed "Pregnant Paula", because that is what she looks like. More comfortable to play sitting down though, doesn't slip off your leg like normal size LPs always do.

And I still have to report about the CAR 82 Grabber with 3-ply neck and maple body which sounds wholly different to my 74 Grabber Blue with one-piece neck and alder body.

I guess instead of making my Sixxbird MKII, they're using up cherry finishes for other T-birds n Fl;yin' Vees!
