Colin Hart, decade-long DP and Rainbow road manager, states in his newish biograpgy that at least three to five tracks did get fully done - he heard the final mixes as he took Blackmore and Paice to the sessions with Lynott who he also knew well - and that quality was state of the art (for early seventies), not at all throwaway tracks as has often been said.
Yeah that would be awesome of the Baby Face recordings finally emerged!
The Sun Goes Down is a deep meaningful song as Phil announces it.
Got To Give It Up is another great song that is about his demons:

Haha, yeah the fat one on the last hit!
The pics and vids of the recording session were shot by the drummer. Just after we finished recording our parts.
What you hear is the modified Epi JCS through my Ampeg V4B.
Actually one of the guitars was also done on that V4B. With volume on 10! Really.

Same goes for all those Justin Bieber haters that see it as their calling or dayjob to tell anyone on YouTube how awful the boy is.
I have no issues with Justin Bieber. I don't listen to his music. Him and his music are no part of my life.

A collection of almost 700 unreleased songs by 1970s rockers Thin Lizzy has recently been unearthed.
The songs were on 150 tapes which were given by the band's former frontman Phil Lynott to a friend before he passed away at the age of 36 in 1986.
The tapes have now been passed on to Universal Music reports Music News, and there are now plans to release some of them in a box set.
As well as previously unreleased songs, the tapes also contain alternative versions of classic Thin Lizzy tracks. The songs span the band's formation in 1971 until the release of 'Renegade' in 1981.
Scott Gorham and Brian Downey of Thin Lizzy will be choosing which songs will appear on the eventual release and will also make a decision on the artwork.
Should be interesting!

I fact I just don't care for those kind of bands which are a display of poor musicianship...
That Kotye song is a nice exception to the stuff you hear on the radio today.
I think it has a Peter Gabriel vibe to it.

The band is called Walk Off The Earth.
They play cool cover versions of well known hits.
The original version of the song Somebody That I Used To know is one of the biggest hits of 2011 in The Netherlands.
The original artist Gotye (pronounced like Gaultier = french for Wouter!) is from New Zealand but he has Belgian roots.

Really? I've just sold my M-85II because I thought this bass sounds too tame for a loud rock band.
I just couldn't rock with the thing. It is a lovely bass but it dind't sound thick and raw enough for me...
