Thanks Guys!!! It still was...and is...designed by me for me and my band!!!! Nobody makes a cool 8 string so I HAD to build 'em!!! More to come considering the requests that are coming in!! Lot of work a head of me but ooh...what fun!!!

I have a couple of basses handmade in Finland (excepting some of the hardware) and of course I'm proud about it but on the other hand I don't give a damn were the instrument is made if it's good.

Yeah that's great!!! I personally don't like USA companies that farm out labor to other countries for cheaper labor (And sometimes inferior quality) when it takes jobs out of America. There have been some great Japanese Fenders and Gibsons..(Y'know I love the Orvilles). I hope I did not offended you. I did in no way shape or form mean it that way, Pekka.

If I had continued to try to make my furniture in the USA I'd be living in a cardboard box.

I turned 65 last week, my prices just went up and I'm farming out bodies and paint work to US suppliers.  I'll be doing the new stain finishes myself.  If I can't sell my basses for a profit making them here I'll either stop or make them somewhere else...just like every other American company that doesn't get subsidized and wants to stay in business.

Hey....I hear ya. I would like to say that if anything ever happened that I would continue to build here in the USA. But who knows.....But how about...a Lucite...T bird 8????????

Aluminum is for sure too heavy. But Lucite????Anybody hear anything on Lucite basses or guitars??? Are there good qualities???? or bad???
