I know a guy who has the name Knapstein. Most people pronounce it Knapsteen. The correct pronounciation is Knapstine.   Its seems to be an optional pronounciation for the same letters depending on which family you belong too.

It's pronounced Frank-N-Stine - as in "wine" or "shine".
