Hi
Anyone who knows the dimensions of the wooden skid under a Hiwatt 4x12 cab? Preferable in mm ;D . Plan to make some repros form my vintage cab.
Thanks!

Sod historical accuracy... fit big industrial wheels or enjoy the hernia...

I am curious to, I'll ask at the vintage amp forum.

You of ALL folks here should know the value of decent wheels on cabs of that ilk... we ain't getting any younger Bro... ;)

Agreed. Not only is your back more important, but rollers have been put on cabs since people started moving them. I think they're historically correct on anything.

I carry a hand truck works just fine ;D The skid dimensions are as follows, 11"L x 1 1/2" W x 3/4" T. Screw holes are 2 1/2" from the ends.

I do like the folding hand truck we have at work...up to 150 pounds, folds flat. They come in various weight capacities. $30 at Sears

Better stock up now while Sears is still in business.

Yeah, yeah.....there are 50 places to get that, at least.

I know, but it's fun to make fun of Sears. Where America Used to Shop. They lost something like $350 million in the second quarter, but if it hadn't been for selling off a bunch of real estate, they would have lost over $500 million. Fun b/c it's entirely due to stupid management.

Wonder if they hired all of GM's castoff managers?

Maybe Henry's been offering business advice...
