This bass is listed at $249 today at Guitar Center's website.  More evidence that it pays to do your homework!

But... but... it's discounted 10%! Think of the savings!  ;)

I've occasionally seen these for $199 new at GC on sale. Maybe he thinks these have now acquired vintage value.
