The same dingbat who thought the Fireturd X would take the guitar world by storm. And who probably thinks a few annual cosmetic changes will get people to buy a new model every year.

It works for ski boots.  Last year's were blue, so they make this year's purple, yellow or striped.  Add $50 retail and call it the new model.

She frequently shoots down my short scale offerings. Usually late in the evening...

That's a dangerous post on this forum.

Sometimes in the late evenings my offerings are short scale, too.  Fatigue is a terrible thing.

Personally, I prefer a slippery knob.

The Frets new and improved this year too  ;D

I really dont understand how they think tiny little changes like serial number formats would enhance collectablity but I've long since given up trying to predict or understand what Gibson does.

I do hope they keep offering different fins each year, I'd be a sucker for an Inverness Green bird....granted, I'll probably be the only person that buys one.

I'm with ya on a retro Thunderbird. Seriously, a Scott Dasson two point, chrome hardware and Inverness Green - I'm in!

And I already own one just like that, I'd still pont up for a another.

Next thing you know will be someone saying that they don't collect for serial numbers. ;D

Since when can you read my mind?!!!

And I think Slipknob is an acquired taste - all those cooky monster vocals and those silly masks. I prefer Stone Sour.

Uh, you can have that.  It'll be $50 and you'll have to get to New Orleans!  ;D :rimshot:
