I'm thinking a Dusk Tiger Robot Zoot Suit Inverse Thunderbird would be right up Henry J's alley.

Not just chrome, but a tune-o-matic bridge with tailpiece. Scott could make a killing! Let's get that proper headstock back as well. They could make a few of those 9 plys maple instead of walnut and strengthen that skinny neck!

I'm with George. Only make the bass Korina and thin maple strips in place of the walnut, Rosewood board, Tune-O-Matic bridge, Big Headstock, Big Tuners and how about Orville pickups????? That would MURDER!!!!!!!!!

And make the them out of MDF - that would be rainforest friendly ;D  Plus it machines great - sound quality shouldn't be an issue :P

More exactly: Chromepervs who had their first (and of course best) sex with a still hot exhaust pipe. That ruins you for life.

I've had the chance to play 60's and 70's Thunderbirds at various shops around here and I just can't say that their sound was really all that different. If it comes down to subtle tone differences then a more balanced, svelte Modern T-Bird has to be the winner in my mind.

There was no better time to chime in then following memoirs of car coitus.
