What Dave...? Poor Mark's grief at finally realising that he's been dumped, in the full glare of the public eye...? the rawness of the moment, for all to "see"...?

I just thought I had to give our relationship some air. But I will never forget you ofcourse! In next issue of De Bassist I enclosed the Mike Lull Bird in the gear section and I wrote that it was designed by Mike Lull with help of a Gibson T-bird collector. What followed was a romantic poem about you, but my colleague didn't want to print that 'cos it had nothing to do with the bass'.

De Bassist just wants to retain the semblance of a family magazine I guess. That said, parts of the heartfelt poem have been indiscreetly divulged to the greater public and I feel honorbound to quote from it here:

Take me to the promised land
Conquer me like desert sand

Especially when you've got me cuffed

The thought of you leaves me no Lull

Mind you, The Netherlands are known for lots of things, but great poetry isn't among them. An "A" for effort though.

English spelling can be confounding, but often little earmark sentences help. Loose or lose?   Easy!
