Assuming the seller is really Uli Jon Roth, I didn't realize he had become delusional in his dotage.

20 grand'll buy an awful lot of crack, not that it appears necessary. There's a good reason those basses are rare.

Only one reason? Ugly, heavy, poor balance and doesn't sound that good. But aside from that, what a bass!

"Like all Travis Bean instruments, the neck has a tendency to back bow under cold weather conditions, but with the help of a blow dryer it straightens up within 5 minutes."

So - what numbers do you know in the key of "blow dryer?"

That's a feature, not a bug. If the neck were stable it would only be worth 200 bucks.  :P

had trouble selling my "rare"  factory red one for 2500 2-3 years ago.  Not a great bass.  I actually liked my alum neck kramers better...

Five minutes with a blow dryer wouldn't have helped a TR7. A beautiful car that couldn't make it across a large parking lot without needing major repairs.

There's a band name doomed to failure:

"Five Minutes With A Blow Dryer."

I had the least amount of fun an auto mechanic could have trying to do some motor work on one of these.
It did look nice in the shop's bay, though.
My post-op test drive went from the bay to the parking lot - I couldn't risk it.

Oh yeah, the bass...if you use the term "raped" in your attempt to sell a bass, you're probably not going to see $20k thrown your way anytime soon.

complicit with the TR7 is the Leyland P76. Not sure what a blow dryer would do to a P76 though.

and before the whole argument starts about does a 44 gallon drum really fit in the boot, yes, yes it does.
