The quality of the Made in Indonesia Jags is really good. I've modded a pair of the four strings, flawless finish and great necks. One of the reasons they are so cheap is the value of the Rupiah has fallen 15% vs. the U.S. dollar (and Euro) in the last year.

All in all not bad. However the neck and headstock have really little to no finish on them. I'll have to have to finish them with a high gloss lacquer in order to provide stability for the wood. Also a hi-mass bridge would be nicely suited for it. The bridge on there is pretty inexpensive looking although functional.

I was one of the first three people in the Netherlands to buy one 8) One store had three in stock, one of each color and I bought the white one. I've had it for about two months now and still haven't figured out what it's for, but it's cool. To me it's a really low tuned guitar rather than a bass with two extra strings. When plugged into a bass amp it's a bass (although not a great one), but when plugged into a guitar amp it's a cool guitar that makes you want to put on sunglasses and play in E minor. Chords sound really expensive on this thing. The Bass VI is built really well and the trem works fine, no tuning issues.

I'm rather fond of hash-browns myself... a great way of using up the left-over veggies...
