« on: December 03, 2009, 05:56:12 AM »
I was in Borders last night and saw these greatest hits cds.  it struck me as a little odd that our beloved Gibson basses were featured but it also made me a bit giddy.  :-[   I wanted to buy them just for the covers.

I just looked at the tracks on the 1970 CD. LOL, what a fraud! A few actual big hits from the year mixed in with non-hits and album tracks. Melanie's version of Ruby Tuesday? Andy Williams singing It's So Easy? Clodagh Rodgers? Roger Whittaker? Yeah, right.
