I was in Borders last night and saw these greatest hits cds. it struck me as a little odd that our beloved Gibson basses were featured but it also made me a bit giddy.
I wanted to buy them just for the covers.

I just looked at the tracks on the 1970 CD. LOL, what a fraud! A few actual big hits from the year mixed in with non-hits and album tracks. Melanie's version of Ruby Tuesday? Andy Williams singing It's So Easy? Clodagh Rodgers? Roger Whittaker? Yeah, right.
