Title: JOHNNY SMOKE Video release
Post by: godofthunder on August 01, 2012, 05:16:16 AM: Well it's all done and now ready for viewing on youtube. I'm bummed no live footage of me with my tbirds, it wasn't available to the director. Oh well I'm pretty pleased with it, it won't set the world on fire but we had fun doing it. http://youtu.be/8GdjtvKw1CI

Post by: godofthunder on August 01, 2012, 06:20:39 PM: It was fun, shot in one afternoon, low budget for sure. Not even big fish in a small pond but we keep doing what we do. The song started out as Peach Jelly......................... use your imagination. We decide to make it a little more accessible. Once the song was voted The Red Wings (AAA ball team) victory song for 2012 we went ahead with the video to get as much out of it as we could.

Our guitar player owns Carbone's Pizza, we brought along one of his pies.

At 0:19 you can just see the trains light as it rounds the bend, my reaction was to throw my hands up yessssss! For me the train bits were the most fun. The Geezer jogging through the shoot was hysterical! You can't script stuff like that!

Made me not very happy :( What ya gunna do? Rush project couldn't get release for video shot with a bird.
