That side by side pic looks very promising!

@uwe: YES, M..A..S..T..E..R...   :P

Na, I'm self employed, so it's not that bad to surf the interwebs... I do feel a lot of pressure since my clients expect me to work for them all day and night and I'm bound to very strict deadlines.

Can't say much about WWII and grandpa is long gone unfortunately - I can't ask him. I'm born '72 and highly influenced by Steven Spielberg and 80's music. ;)

I've posted a couple of basses that I own in the bass section --- here's the link: http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=6333.0

I think those Tiger/T-34s were the same tanks used in "Kellys' Heroes"!

Being a pedant, and with Uwe bringing TANKS into the equation (probably whilst marching round "Ze Kollection" in his mirrorshine jackboots ;D), I'd best point out that Spielberg first "featured" with a TANK(er) in "DUEL" - hauled by a Peterbilt...

"Duel" is a badass movie. You see LOTS of "Jaws" before "Jaws" happened in it.
