After thinking about it for a couple weeks, I decided to do an ebony face plate on the Billy.  I've got some pearl inlays coming that should be really cool with an ebony background.

I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

Oh yeah, this is the way to go!  I've decided on my headstock logo for all of my future builds.  First, all basses will have an ebony or dark wood headstock face and a pearl inlay.  Stay tuned for a picture of the inlay.......  8)

To me, those uprights need to keep in line for symmetry's sake...?

Otherwise, works for me...

I hear ya, I just tossed them on there for a quick pic.  The uprights will match  up when I inlay them.

Thanks CW.  I wanted something simple but distinctive.  I was going to go with decals, but I really love the look of pearl on ebony.  So, this is my preference.

Cool,Doc, pearl and ebony is classy!  Maybe a little higher up the headstock so the logo relates more to the crown.
