Beautiful Doc, that's going to turn out great. Compliments on your craftmanship!  8)

Thanks Peter!  I'm going to look into modifying the tail[piece today.  I won't do it if it means too much modification.

Well, it wouldn't bother me if the tailpiece can't be shortened. Looks great already.

Brilliant bodyshape, very nice.

Good news on the tail piece.  The top buttons pop off and the wire piece can be moved up and cut to length!  So, we'll be experimenting with that later in the week.

I like the tail piece long. There I said it!

It adds length to the look. It is supposed to look like a trapeze tailpiece. Shortening it will kill that.

Too late!!  I shortened it and I like the look.  I only took .75 inch or so off and it fits better and I think the strings will ride better on the saddles with the change in angle.  Pics later.

All RIGHT! Lookin' AWESOME, man! You gotta pick a color SOON.
Turquoise perhaps? That's what I'd choose if it was a lefty!

No turquoise is for lefties.

It should be fire engine red.

A 50's color (salmon, seafoam green, deco blue etc.) or red would look best in my opinion, but depends if you are going to be playing out with it, what respectable for your gigs & yourself.

I think red is classic, metal flake would be cool & very hot rod.

I bet a dark subtle color would be nice as well, like british racing green, wine or black.

Dug up these pics I did from the Dude Pit le fiasco bass.

CAR

British racing green headstock- very sexy, subtle with chrome

Black might not be the best choice for the vibe-
