Well, I think it is too!

Really?!
What year would that be? ...1970?
I've never seen a Gibson EB-1 with Alembic style fret inlays... yes, you could modify the fretboard.
...Obviously the thing has been HEAVILY modified to all Hell.
I thought it was a knock-off...
If it is authentic... Why in Gods name would you do that?!
...and $900.00 Buy It Now?!

Could be a heavily modded 1970 issue. Hard to tell with that much work done.

looks like a modded 70's to me, kinda cool but not $900 worth of cool. I'd like it better if the mudbucker was there

No more BIN price.  Guess they figured out the same thing we've been saying.  As much as I love EB-1's, I have a hard time seeing anything more than $250 in cool.

I kinda like the dragon carving. There, I said it.

Some of you thot THAT was a travesty!

The dragon itself is not bad but the poorly routed edging is ghastly.

Again another victim of the custom bass movement of the 70's. for the most part I like these basses they are a product of the times. Bassists in the 70's had few choices then over night it seemed there were dozens of after market parts. some of us went a litle overboard myself included. Custom build were for people like JE his Fenderbirds being the perfect example.
