Post by: doombass on August 18, 2019, 02:47:11 PM: Wow, great design again. The Ric/ Epi Embassy inspired combo shape of the body is really nice. I think you hit well in your aim at something uniqye, also Lace pickups are'nt used that often for example. Good work once again Rob!

I am impressed with the Lace Alumitone humbuckers.
They're dead silent. And the highs are chrystal clear while the lows are tight and deep.

The wiring hasn't been soldered yet. I've only wired it directly to the jack output.
Will post a short video when it's fully functioning.

It's a truss rod cover.

I was actually saying to myself that I really should pick up the bass more often. Because my playing has become incredibly sloppy and rusty over the last few years, since I'm not in a band anymore.
Making this little video took me quite a few takes to get it acceptable... :o

I made a new video by the way. I wasn't very happy with the recording quality of the first one. It has too much distortion in the low end.
I didn't have any proper recording equipment to go into the iMac.
So I bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo to get a decent signal into the computer.
At least the the sound quality has improved a bit. :mrgreen:
