I wouldn't mind so much if he weren't expecting to get money for it. The body is worthless regardless of the vintage.

I just looked at the second question and his answer. I didn't look at this closely when it was first posted, but there's no way the neck was manufactured like that. Fender didn't do fretboard extensions. I'm not sure Fender even made fretless non-maple Precisions in the 70s. So on top of the body job, the neck has been severely altered. And yet he got £427 for it. Lucky guy.
