Title: Harmony H-25
Post by: Hörnisse on October 08, 2013, 12:31:55 PM
Just picked this up yesterday.  I've always wanted one and they are neat basses.  Short scale and Made In USA.  The tort looks similar to what Fender used at the time.  I just threw on a set of old TI Flats so pardon the stringing job.  I have never seen one with a bound neck either.

Neat.  How does it sound with the mute ingaged?

Most of the mute has deteriorated so right now it does not work properly.  Just a lot of buzz from the metal plate.  I'll look for a piece of foam and try placing it on there to see though.

I like that bass!!  Very nice!

The mute on my Univox is similar to that and has a strip of rubber on it.

Nice!  Reminds me of childhood days, drooling over basses in the Sears catalog

Me2

And the tort sure looks like it came from the same vendor Leo used.
