Went for $320 plus $35 shipping -- that's more than they went for new, and this is not anything with vintage value.

Yes, but those basses are indestructible, have good hardware, an individual look plus can be easily upgraded with better J/P pup combination so it is a worthwhile investment. Neck heavy beasts though.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

I really liked to 2 that I had for a short while (4 & 5 string). I would have kept them but I needed $$$ for the L P Standard bass that I bought.
