Never have seen one in person, but I've seen pics before. The ones I've seen have a "monkey grip" similar to the Ibanez Jem guitars but on the lower bass side bout. This is the first one I've seen without it. Pretty rare bird, all right.

Seen plenty, and yes this is the only one I've seen WITHOUT the curved hole in the body.

If I wanted to buy a Teisco, it would probably be this one:  the Teisco Spectrum.  Of course actually finding one might not be too easy.
