Title: Viewing Guitar Guts with a Wifi Borescope.............
Post by: Grog on December 04, 2015, 07:30:33 PM
Just started messing around with a Wifi Borescope I bought off eBay. I thought it would be useful to check out pot codes etc........... It came with an angle mirror to view at 90 degree angles, it reverses the photo, so you have to mirror it. It works clearer without the mirror. I found a number on the bottom of the top of my 1967 EB-2, not sure what it is for. The pot code is a bit fuzzy.

Here are a few shots of the impedance level switch on a Les Paul Signature guitar..

Interesting device.

That number on the underside of the top is probably for inventory control. What else could it be for?

I bought one too a year or more ago and haven't needed it yet, still a handy tool for a variety of purposes.

On my Les Paul Jumbo, the Switchcraft switch that bypasses the "Tone" & "Bass" controls was dirty. I was able to use the scope through the sound hole & slide the tuner cleaner tube through the guitar jack to spray the switch. It might not get much use, but for $63.00, I don't have much into it.............
