Yeah, boy! I posted a pick of the T-bird on the Gibson thread and added that neck dive comment. Man, it's not fooling around!

Post by: TBird1958 on February 26, 2009, 09:01:36 PM: Next time you're at a better music store just get an extra strap pin, if you mount it at the base of the heal on the body or by drilling thru the neck plate you'll alleviate most of it. A leather strap helps too.
On any of mine that have them in the original position I usually leave them there..............a useless appendage.

Absolutely! Why I have the itch for a Dano, I dunno....but I do. I just need to finish my other basses before doing anything else. But those new ones are very cool!

I think the only way to get the 2009 model is to pre-order it, although I suppose that could have changed since the last time I checked.
