Title: Bruce crashes again..
Post by: 66Atlas on August 24, 2016, 03:50:43 PM
Between the touring plane and this remind me to never get on a plane with Dickinson at the helm ;D  (I know, he wast actually piloting either but still...)

Or maybe he was just hoping this would force rock critics to male comparisons between Maiden and Zeppelin.

Looks more like an awkward landing than a crash.

Yeah, the video doesn't really show that much and it almost looks like he landed unscathed.  Saw some photos and they did some damage for certain, although you may be able to call it a hard landing instead of a crash.

They obviously have to use the XL size latex glove to check for problems... :o

I think the operative word is test flight,
second test flight having a bumpy landing really isn't a big deal, some really succesful aircraft have killed a couple of test pilots in their early iterations

And he didn't crash the first time either. I think it was ground personnel crashing into him (or rather the Ed Force One)
