I wouldn't mind playing around with one of these, but I don't want the balance issues of a full reverse Tbird. Is there any chance this body would semi-balance?

that's Brooklyn, Michigan. The wood-chippers are actually used on wood there.

The Elites are pretty cool. Go for it - that would make a great project.

T'bird by name, T'bird by nature... just because she has "Epi" on the neck, what do you think...? ;)

Probably true. It just didn't look as radical as some.
If I play with one of those, it may need to be a non-reverse.

NRs aren't exactly well balanced either.

That's an Epi Pro IV. I paid $100 for mine delivered except it has the original brass nut and perfect paint. Good bass. I'd spend the extra $$ and buy a new one for $400. Some of them DO have trussrod issues, especially the ones without serial numbers. Just because it turns doesn't mean it works correctly.
