I love the look of this guitar. I'm also a fan of the chambered Gretsches, I think they sound fantastic. Wish they'd do a bass version.

The Gretsch Thunderjet (short scale) is chambered. Mine is a very nice bass.

That is MUCH more my style (I don't like gold). I've got a chambered Epi Rumblekat that I like a lot. The blue one with chrome.  ;D

Better picture - from the Gretsch website. I have the pick guard for mine but have never mounted it.  I don't want to make more holes in the bass.

Bill (drbassman) had a ThunderJet too, Beautiful bass.

I think his getting one influenced me. As I recall, he was very pleased with it.  So am I.  It's crafted beautifully and plays easily.
