OK, the price was too good to pass up and it looks like a 30" scale this time. all original with case too. Man, I am such a hollow body ho! :P

Well yes, I do like to roll the dice once in awhile! I just hope that all Mosrite sellers aren't the bottom feeders of eBay! This one look legit and it's totally covered by PayPal again, so I figured what the heck! It is a 30" scale this time, you can tell by bridge placement alone. I really liked the sound of the one I had briefly, so this should be fine as far as tone, etc. Besides, I got the darn thing on a $600 BIN! I mean come on, why not?

I think this one might be a better experience. The rest of the pictures show a well cared for instrument all the way around. There were so many flaws with the last one I couldn't count them all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good result here.

That is absolutely beautiful!! Compared to the last one, it's certainly a much better value, too.

Well, the first one I had had the cheaper soapbar pups and they sounded a lot like a mudbucker with just a little more clarity. This one has the higher end pups with adjustable poles so I'm expecting something better than the previous Mosrite. I was very temped to keep the first one just because it was rare but the 24" scale was just not my thing. I also found a lot of flaws when I popped the neck off to check for a date stamp. That did it for me. On the surface, this one looks much better. I'll share with everyone when it arrives.

Thanks guys. She came today and she's a keeper. Excellent condition with one finish crack in the back, none in the front which is typical for these basses. Only the case and pickguard aren't original, the rest is. A great deal for sure IMHO..... Sure glad I returned the first one!

Well, I've only been able to play it for 20 minutes or so and I'm very pleased with it. All of the electronics work fine and it has a really pleasant hollow body tone quality with a nice low-mid-hi balance to it. The pups aren't as bassy sounding as the first Mosrite I had, but it had the cheaper Celebrity pups. I'll fool around with adjustment screws just for fun. The cosmetic condition is a definite 8.5 - 9, just a few nicks and a couple finish cracks. Great shape for its age. Unless anything unusual pops up in the next day or so, it looks like a really good deal!
