One of my favorite Stones songs to play is Honky Tonk Women.  I recall at a jam session years ago they called out "It's All Over Now" which is one of my favorites.  For the life of me I could hardly play the damn song even though I've heard it for years and years.  How is that one for you Mark?

Once you know the riff it's not tricky at all - the main riff played throughout the song is based on the notes in a simple blues pentatonic box, so if you've played a little 50's rock n roll it should come really easy.

+2 or 3 on the Doors bass lines. Not tricky as such but definitely well written. Certainly require respect if you are going to play them properly. My favorites to are probably LA Woman and Love me 2 times.

I had this 22 y.o. kid I hired as my assistant editor at one of the trade magazines I was editor of in the 90s. He went to the wedding of one of our other magazine editors one weekend and came back Monday laughing about "some old, fat, bald, drunk Jewish guy heard I wrote for a music magazine and started telling me bullshit that he played with Bob Dylan, The Doors, Al Kooper, Mike Bloomfield, Miles Davis...."

Hearing that list and the physical description, I yelled over the wall of the cubicle and asked "His name wasn't Harvey by any chance was it?"  Therre was a briefe silence and then an sheepish "Yeah, How'd you know?"
And I yelled back over the wall..."Harvey Brooks...played with all those guys and also bass on the "Super Session" album. He's for real."

A great keyboardist I played with was also the keyboard player for decades for the big Dorrs trinute band in the NYC/NJ  area, called Crystal Ship....actually immortalized in the song "Bitchin' Camaro" by The Dead Milkmen. He used to fly back up to NYC to do reunion gigs with them until 2009 when the singer passed away (and no...not in a bathtub.)
