I'll spoil the party and stern Rob will forgive me: But having both a Bach and a Gibby RI NR, the Gibson has more substance and ooomph, courtesy of more body mass, all maho construction and the TB Plus pups. The Bach has that slightly nasal mids peak which you either like or do not care for. I'm more in the latter group.

I put CTS pots and a new jack in my BaCHs and switched to LaBella flats. They sound totally different than they did originally, and a lot better I might add!
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

Just pitching in...that bass isn't showing on the BaCH site.  What is it?  Prototype?

BaCH no longer has them on their site. But they can still be ordered via me.
Not a prototype. One of four possible models to choose from.

One model is a red one with this half pickguard just like a Thunderbird.
One model is a red one with a larger pickguard just like the Entwistle Fenderbird. (sold out)
One model is a honeyburst flamed maple top with white large pickguard.
One model is a lefty red one with a larger pickguard just like the Entwistle Fenderbird. (sold out)

Just thinking out loud here...how much (incl. shipping) for the one you're playing in the video?  Euro or GBP.  I'm in the UK.  Alternatively, my brother-in-law lives in the Hague and commutes home every weekend.  If they're special order, any alternative wood for the fingerboard?

The BaCH Fenderbird with original Artec humbuckers is € 300. Shipping to UK is € 88.
Shipping to The Hague would be much cheaper of course: € 13

As an alternative for the fingerboard the only other option is rosewood. The honeyburst Fenderbird has a rosewood fingerboard. I guess it wouldn't be too much of a problem for BaCH to exchange the necks.
