So just what does a Cataldo NR sound like ?
« on: February 12, 2015, 09:06:48 AM »
I think this subject needs it's own thread. My Old band finally released this. I must have laid the tracks three years ago (one take  ). My Cataldo siggy through  My Orange TB500, 1x15 miced with a SM57 and also using  the direct out. A little to much direct out in the signal but hey I wasn't there to mix it. http://www.reverbnation.com/johnnysmokerocks/song/22010311-be-my-misery

Great bass sound, sounds like the strings are made out of reinforcement rod. Love it. Good tunes, too! Are you using pick? Fluid, still heavy, playing.

  Thunderbucker Max!

Full strength A5 AlNiCo magnets with the MAXimum amount of wire that can be wrapped around a ThunderBucker bobbin.  3db louder than a stock '66.  More bass, less top.
