And a Gibson TRC.

Looks good, price seems reasonable for Europe.

Way back in '76 I had the choice of the Ibanez Thunderbird, Flying V or the Destroyer (Explorer) I am so glad I got the Destroyer ! Almost new Destroyer in action

Doesn't come up at all on UK Ebay. Last time I looked we were in the European Union.

The repair guy I use had one of these for sale for ages in his workshop. As he usually managed to relieve me of any spare money I had working on stuff I already owned, it was safe from me.

Interesting that the pups are changed out, while being nicely mannered I'd never consider swapping out the factory stock ones on mine.

I changed the pups out way back when, the bass went through a number of pickup configurations. I had no idea as a kid the bass would be a bit of a collectors item. I love it as it is but had I know I would have been a little less invasive with my mods.

Nah, just typical 70s rock - much of which was called metal back then, the distinctions were not so, distinct. The "P-V" was originally an Ibanez that was laying around in a local music store with no neck. They put a P-neck on it (held on with two screws and no neck plate) and set it out on the sales floor figuring some schmuck would buy it. Hello! The red paint, filled bridge pickup hole and Model One were my handiwork. It originally looked like this:

Nope - sold it to a female bassist almost 30 years ago. I've often wondered how it fared since it had no case - I used to carry it around in a duffel bag with the neck sticking out the top!
